Beirut Arab University made a noteworthy debut in the Times Higher Education (THE) 2023 Asia University Rankings, securing a commendable position as third in Lebanon and 166th in Asia.
The 2023 edition of THE Asia University Rankings evaluated a total of 669 universities across 31 territories. These rankings utilized the same set of 13 performance indicators as the THE World University Rankings, with necessary adaptations to accurately reflect the distinctive characteristics of Asian institutions. The performance indicators assessed were categorized under five key domains, namely Teaching environment (25%), Research (30%), Citations (30%), International outlook (7.5%), and Industry income (7.5%).
