Beirut Arab University represented by its President Professor Amr Galal El Adawi and Makassed Hospital represented by the President of Al-Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association Dr. Faisal Sinno signed a three-year renewable Cooperation Agreement aimed at training students of medical faculties as well as exchanging experiences and consultations in the technical and medical fields.
The cooperation agreement provides for medical and academic cooperation, defining the conditions of clinical teaching and training at Makassed Hospital, as well as the number of medical students, residents, rotating interns and fellows. BAU shall grant the clinical titles to the primary doctors working at the hospital and the participants in the educational process.
Both parties shall also cooperate to organize sustainable rehabilitation courses, training courses for doctors or medical conferences and seminars, and conduct joint researches and studies in the various fields of the medical, health and biomedical sciences provided. A joint committee shall be formed to implement the terms of this agreement in order to ensure the efficiency and high quality of the academic programs and clinical training.
