In cooperation with Human Rights Center at Beirut Arab University, the Madanyat for Equality Foundation organized the "Her Civic Quest" project to train the University's female students on various topics: gender equality, leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, environmental threats and solutions, political missions and advocacy.
The first phase of the project concluded with training sessions on negotiation skills, advocacy strategies, gender justice, leadership development and conflict resolution.
The project could extend for 13 months and is funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and in partnership with UNDP and UN Women.
In the second phase students will be trained on political missions, debate, lobbying and advocacy in order to develop their leadership and personal capacities.
