The BAU Media Center organized a private training course in Public Speaking over the course of a month and a half for Mrs. Joumana Najjar, the Financial and Administrative Director of Al Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association and Hospital. The course aimed to improve her communication and presentation skills.
At the conclusion of the course, a ceremony was held in the presence of Professor Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, President of Beirut Arab University, and the trainee’s family. The ceremony began with a welcome speech by Mrs. Jihan Itani, Content and Training Specialist at the Center, followed by a word from Mrs. Abeer Ghazal, Director of the Media Center, who praised the University's efforts to pursue its educational mission during wartime. This was followed by a speech from the trainee, Mrs. Najjar, who emphasized the importance of the course, noting that public speaking and presentation skills have become essential for success in various fields.
Before receiving her certificate of participation, Professor Abdel Salam, the University President, emphasized the importance of modesty, respecting others’ opinions regardless of one’s position, and the role of determination, passion, and modesty in learning and achieving success.
