Dr. Mirna Fawaz have participated in a faculty exchange mission to one of the nursing department’s key collaborators; Ataturk University, in Erzurum, Turkey from 23 August until 27 August 2021. The aim of the mission was to discuss updates on the collaborative projects that have been in progress and discuss future plans for upcoming student and faculty exchange as well as further research projects and joint scientific events such as joint conferences.

Dr. Mirna got to share the study plan for the nursing program with the staff of the nursing school at Ataturk University and discussed their study plan; discussing the commonalities and future common courses.

Dr. Mirna had the chance to visit the simulation center at Ataturk and discuss updates and collaboration plans on the level of simulation and related research. Currently and upon that visit, Dr. Mirna is authoring a joint research paper that is being submitted to an indexed international journal in cooperation with Dr. Esin Kavuran from Ataturk.
