In collaboration with the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE), the Human Rights Center at Beirut Arab University organized an interactive session on “The Role of Municipalities in Facing Crises”.
Moderated by Mr. Mohammad Gebara from LADE, the discussion highlighted the challenges that municipalities face in Lebanon and their role in enhancing local participation and contributing to the reconstruction process.
The discussion encouraged students to reflect on the importance of decentralization and civic engagement as key components for sustainable development and community resilience.
