The Human Rights Center at Beirut Arab University, in collaboration with the Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI), organized an awareness session entitled “Democratic Participation: Elections and Their Relationship with Democracy”, delivered by Dr. Odine Salloum.

Held within the framework of the EU-funded project “Inclusive Democratic Participation: Enhancing Education, Engagement and Oversight in Lebanon", the session addressed the importance of democratic participation, electoral rights and responsibilities, transparency, and accountability.

Discussions also explored modern voting methods, the role of technology in facilitating inclusive electoral participation, and the importance of youth engagement in public life.
