Science - Course - Biostatistics

Populations, samples and sampling error; types of data; empirical definition of probability and probability distributions, conditional probability, independence, Bayes’ rule and counting rules; discrete and continuous distributions, random variables, binomial, normal and t- distributions, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing. This course is given only for Biology and Biochemistry students.
