Human-Sciences - Course - Specialized Teaching Methods and Strategies 1SM

This course exposes student teachers to a variety of teaching techniques in science and math . It is the first of two sequence courses with EDSM 401. This first sequence exposes student teachers to a variety of teaching techniques. Emphasis is on developing abilities and skills to teach science and Mathematics concepts by using different activities. Student teachers are trained in how to design Science and Math activities by using the 'Discovery and Problem-Solving Methods' according to the content of the textbooks of Science and Math in the elementary stage.
