In this course, student teachers will explore key psychological theories related to play, recognize the developmental benefits of play in early childhood, identify different types of play and their relevance to learning, design developmentally appropriate play activities, assess children's developmental needs through observational play assessment, and develop strategies to support play in diverse educational settings.
