Course Description
This course focuses on the fundamental principles of materials science and its application in the classroom. Student teachers will learn about the physical and chemical properties of materials, such as strength, elasticity, conductivity, and reactivity, and how these properties influence their use in everyday applications. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on experiments, and group projects, they will explore the properties, structures, and behaviors of various materials, including metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites. They will conduct experiments to observe material behaviors, encouraging discovery-based learning.
