Course Description
The course provides an overview of different types of learning disabilities, their characteristics, and strategies for identification and intervention. Student teachers will explore the challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities in educational settings and society. Topics covered include understanding the neurodevelopmental basis of learning disabilities, assistive technologies, and inclusive practices. Emphasis is placed on developing a deep understanding of the needs of students with learning disabilities and equipping educators with the tools and strategies to support their academic and social-emotional growth effectively through case studies and practical applications.
