Course Description
This course equips student teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach environmental issues and promote sustainability in the classroom. They will explore critical environmental issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and sustainability. Analyze the impact of these issues on local and global scales, cultivate knowledge about ecosystems, natural resources, and the interdependence between humans and the environment, foster ecological literacy in children, and learn about sustainable practices in schools and communities, including waste reduction, energy conservation, and gardening, to promote a culture of sustainability children.
