This course is the second of two sequence courses with EDAR 354. It focuses on more advanced verb conjugations (past, future, imperative), expanded noun case usage and agreements, complex sentence structures (relative clauses, conjunctions), in-depth study of Arabic morphology (derivation, inflection), an analysis of authentic Arabic texts (literary, formal, and colloquial), and practical exercises in translation and composition.
