Course Description
This course is the first of two sequence courses with EDAR 407. It focuses on the foundational aspects of grammar and morphology. Student teachers will explore the essential structures of Arabic, including the alphabet, basic sentence construction (noun, verb, adjective), noun cases (nominative, accusative, genitive), basic verb conjugations in the present tense, root and pattern morphology, and fundamental grammatical rules. The course will emphasize the relationship between root forms and derivation, simple dialogues and vocabulary building enabling children to understand how words are formed and modified.
