Course Description

This course aims to provide student teachers a foundational understanding of the geography of Lebanon and the broader Arab world. They will learn about the diverse physical features of Lebanon and the Arab World, the rich cultural diversity, languages, traditions, and religions in Lebanon and various Arab countries, the historical events that have shaped the region's geography and populations, including trade routes and migration patterns, the political boundaries, capitals, and major cities will help students understand the contemporary issues affecting the region, and the environmental concerns in Lebanon and the Arab world, discussing topics such as urbanization, climate change, and preservation of natural resources.
