Course Description
This course identifies the developments of the twenty-first century that have affected the fields of education and learning. Transitions to green education, digitization, artificial intelligence, global education, the emergence of the need for new teaching skills and roles for the teacher such as individualized learning, learning by doing, and embracing equity, diversity, and inclusion led to the emergence of the need for different learning skills that the learner must be able to master in the fields of cognitive, interpersonal, and intrapersonal competencies, as long as critical thinking and problem solving, collaboration and communication, creativity and innovation, digital literacy, global awareness, and lifelong learning.
