Course Description
This course focuses on examining the effects of alterations on selected bio-behavioral processes in the adult human suffering from illness with critical onset, multi system failure and unstable conditions. This course prepares nurses to use diagnostic reasoning, decision-making, therapeutic interventions, advanced assessment and consultations. Emphasis is placed on strategies relevant to the implementation of the nurse's role as a practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher and manager.
