Course Description

This course presents a detailed and advanced study of the blood groups of man, their immunohematology properties and major laboratory aspects of blood banking with special reference to theoretical and clinical applications. This course also covers safety issues relating to blood banking and advanced preventive measures that regulate transmission of infections via blood transfusion.
