Engineering - Course - Physical Geology

The course provides an introduction to the composition and structure of the earth. It covers topics including the composition of minerals and rock, volcanism, earth structures, earthquakes, erosion and surface processes, geologic time, geologic hazards, and plate tectonics. In this course, attention will focus on the rocks, landscapes, surface erosional and depositional features, as well as the agents that form them.
