The course provides the necessary data about diffusional and convective mass transfer and its application to continuous contact operation. It covers also the introduction to the operating principles, including fundamentals of mass balance and the selection criteria of separation processes: distillation, liquid-liquid extraction, gas-liquid absorption, humidification.
