Engineering - Course - Colloids and Interfaces

This course provides the fundamentals of surface and colloid chemistry, the mixed colloids and aggregation stability, the interfacial phenomena as well as the dynamic surface tension and interaction of surfactant. It also covers some colloidal applications such as emulsion, foams and aerosol. The principles of corrosion and their prevention control are also reviewed. Pre-req.: CHEM248
