Course Description
This course provides an in-depth study of advanced digital signal-processing techniques in Biomedical Engineering. Students will learn advanced signal processing concepts, including time-frequency analysis, wavelet analysis, adaptive filtering techniques, machine learning techniques, and their application in biomedical signal processing. The course also covers Random Variables, covering probability theory, distributions, discrete and continuous random variables, joint probability distributions, and random variable transformations. The course includes ethical considerations in signal processing for biomedical applications. Prerequisites: Biomedical Signal Processing and Mathematics for Signal Processing, each chapter is supported by MATLAB applications.
