Course Description
The clinical component of the program focuses on proper case documentation, diagnosis, prognosis and comprehensive treatment planning of various types and severities of periodontal diseases. It deals with different surgical procedures including, gingivectomy, esthetic crown lengthening, regenerative flap procedures using different bone graft materials as well as various laser applications. Additional emphasis is placed on preprosthetic and mucogingival surgeries .By the end of the courses residents will be trained to be competent in the clinical skills in periodontal therapy and implant dentistry as an integral component of comprehensive oral health care.
