Course Description

The course provides students with profound knowledge regarding patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning in restorative dentistry to be implemented in the clinical setting. Students are anticipated to develop correct judgment about deep carious lesions and when is it necessary to apply therapeutic material and properly select suitable type of dental restoration. They will learn how to manage tooth pain and hypersensitivity. Students will continue developing their clinical skills in handling simple to moderate operative cases using a conservative approach according to set criteria. Students are expected to complete their patient’s needs in a safe environment and apply basic standards of infection control. Fourhanded dentistry is practiced in the clinical sessions.
