Course Description

To provide the residents with adequate basic knowledge concerning: epidemiology, pathogenesis, laboratory diagnosis and management of infections caused by: Gram positive bacteria, Gram negative bacteria, anaerobic bacteria and Mycobacteria. Identifying etiology, epidemiology, laboratory diagnosis and management of bacterial pathogens causing dental and periodontal infections. Recognizing the immune response against infectious diseases and immune response disorders (hypersensitivity).
