This course will provide the principles of leadership and management in health professions education, learning environment and curriculum development, new trends in medical education, measuring health professions competencies, towards quality and accreditation in health professions education, scientific thinking and presentation skills. principles of quality assurance are discussed including differences between planning, improvement and quality control, use of indicators, patient safety, auditing and accreditation.
