Emergency cases received by the diagnosis outpatient clinics are supposed to be referred to the Endo resident on call who will diagnose and assess the difficulty level of the case, make the treatment plan, and provide appropriate emergency treatment and referral of patients with diseases of the pulp and periradicular tissues.
