Course Description
The course develops a spirit of inquiry that leads the students to seek better ways to promote and preserve oral and general health.
The aim of this course is to familiarize the students to understand current and classic scientific facts and principles. The students will also acquire the ability to collect and analyse scientific data, and explain scientific findings through both written and spoken words.
The clinical application of concepts is emphasized, thus students can relate theory to dental practice. Students also acquire skills to interpret information from histological and ultrastructural micrographs against which pathological changes may be contrasted.
