Course Description
In this course, implications of the current economic events related to the environment and sustainability are examined through the applications of economic development theory. The course includes topics related to environmental accounting, valuing resources and public and private governance related to sustainable development. Emphasis is placed on acquainting the student with the methods of economic analysis in the context of current sustainable development issues. Students are expected to analyze and apply applying economic principles to the discussion of sustainable development.
