Beirut Arab University has signed an agreement with THE ARCTIC UNIVERSITY OF NORWAY (UIT) through its Department of Health and Care Sciences Whereas:

• Promote and improve socio-cultural understanding amongst Lebanese and Norwegian health workers through mutual exchange of students and teachers
• Develop competence in providing health services in different social and cultural contexts
• Strengthen research and scholarly activities of both institutions

Beirut Arab University has signed an agreement with UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI MODENA E REGGIO EMILIA whereas:

• The mutual interest of both universities in the development of scientific research and training of students, scientists and technicians.
• The existing common scientific programs.
• The mutual willingness to extend the collaboration further.

Beirut Arab University has signed an agreement with THE UNIVERSITY COURT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW whereas:

• BAU is engaged in the development work in the field of Food Safety and Technology/Spices and herbs decontamination.
• The university owns intellectual property, know-how and / or other rights in and to a continuous flowing system for the destruction of microbial contamination on herbs and spices, using a combination of processes which may include laser, microwave, plasma, ozone, UV, pulsed light or other chemical, thermal or mechanical/physical treatment, with the intension to reduce contaminants and extend shelf life of the herbs and spices.
• The parties wish to enter discussions with each other to consider and evaluate prospects for exploitation/opportunities for working together and may in the course of those discussions wish to disclose to each other certain information including but not limited to know-how, data, samples and other information related to the Field and the subject matter which they regard as confidential.
