Course Description
This course enables students to acquire and utilize scientific inquiry and theory in the management of the health care units and organizations and apply advanced knowledge in making decisions affecting the management of health care system. It assists the students employ relevant philosophies as these contribute to the management of health care units and organizations, and to utilize knowledge of the law and legislations and health policy in making decisions. In addition, it enables them to apply communication strategies and to demonstrate the ability to think critically in the Nurse Administrator role, as well as to demonstrate leadership skills in the performance of the Nurse Administrator role. Pre-req: NURS310.
