Nawal AL Hakawati

Dr. Nawal Al Hakawati is an Assistant Professor of Biophysical Chemistry in the Biological Sciences Department. She received her PhD from the University of Surrey in United Kingdom in 2017 where she worked on Physicochemical Characterizations of synthesized calix-macrocycles with their analytical and biological applications. Dr. Al Hakawati has lectured at several universities in Lebanon and she was a Visiting Research Fellow in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Surrey. Her research focus is on Biological and Analytical Applications of Supramolecular Chemistry.
