Mohamad Nasser
Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Dr. Mohamad Nasser earned a B.S. in Mathematics in 2012 and an M.S. in Mathematics with a specialization in Discrete Mathematics and Algebra in 2014, both from Lebanese University. In 2022, he obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Beirut Arab University, where his doctoral research focused on Representation Theory.
He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Beirut Arab University, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses.
His research interests lie in Group Representations, with a particular emphasis on the Braid Group, Pure Braid Group, and their various extensions and generalizations. He is also engaged in studying the interplay between algebra, topology, and combinatorics, with the aim of discovering new structural properties and applications of these mathematical objects.
