Associate Professor


Dr. Khaled currently works as an associate professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Physical Therapy Department, at BAU. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Cairo University in 1993, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2001. Subsequently, he completed his PhD in 2006. In 2018, he attained the position of Associate Professor at Must. Dr. Khaled Takey has served as an assistant professor and associate professor at MUST and Beirut Arab University in Lebanon since 2013. He previously held the position of associate professor and vice dean for postgraduate studies and research in the College of Physical Therapy at MUST. Dr. Khaled Takey had several articles in peer-reviewed journals concerning cardiopulmonary and geriatric illnesses.

Teaching

I educate multiple courses in the physical therapy department. I employ several advanced educational methods, specifically Problem-Based Learning and Team-Based Learning , beside laboratory demonstrations and practical applications. The courses I teach pertain to cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, and differential diagnosis. I consistently endeavor to align optimal assessment methods with the course objectives and the overall outcomes of the physical therapy program.
