Before joining BAU, Dr. Hesham Elarnaouty taught Architectural Design Studios, Building Construction, Execution Design, Urban Design, City and Town Planning at Faculty of Architectural Engineering-Alexandria University.
At BAU, he taught Architectural Design VII , Senior Project , Project Programming, Project Management, Design Fundamentals , Computer Aided Design I, Graphic Design, Research and Programming, Advanced Design Studio I, Advanced Design Studio II (Msc).

Research Interests:
My research interests are in the areas of Architectural Design, History of Islamic Architecture, Urban Design and my current research interests are architectural/Art and Design education and Practice, pedagogy, particularly relating to quality assurance, Curriculum development and validation process.
