For and on behalf of Beirut Arab University, President Prof. Amr Galal El-Adawi signed an MoU with Cambridge Assessment English represented by Ramiz Haddadin, the Regional Commercial Head for Central. According to the MoU, BAU will be formally recognizing Cambridge English qualifications which are already recognized by over 23,000 universities, employers and government bodies in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zeeland, and other English-speaking countries. This MoU enables BAU students to take Cambridge English exams on campus and obtain high-level international qualifications. These qualifications are valid for life and will help students further their studies and enhance their employability prospects locally and internationally. This partnership has been activated during the fall 2018-2019 with implementing the Cambridge First English FCE exam as a requirement of the INTE 104 intensive English course.
