The Faculty of Human Sciences and the Language Centre at BAU, in cooperation with Global ELT Solutions (GES), organised the 4-hour Cambridge Teacher Training Development Workshop Planning Learner-centred Lessons by Cambridge Exam Team Leader Ingrid Khourshid on Saturday 30/3/2019 in Beirut campus. The LC Coordinator and instructors in addition to 30 other instructors from the various high schools and universities in Lebanon attended the workshop. During the two workshop sessions Planning Your Lessons and Assessing Your Learners Ingrid made sure that instructors are well trained on writing effective aims, identifying components of a lesson plan and writing effective lesson plans. Ingrid also extensively provided the instructors with hands-on activities on different assessment test types, highlighting the benefits of informal and formal assessment and identifying student-centred activities and support for teachers from digital resources. The workshop ended with the distribution of certificates of attendance by GES, Cambridge sole agent in Lebanon, to all attendees.
