Because there isn’t a better way to kick-start the semester than a cozy gathering, the ASCE student chapter at BAU organized a welcome to “Spring Semester” breakfast for all ASCE members along with the faculty members.
Dr. Hussein Kassem, ASCE student chapter advisor, launched the event with a motivational speech that included the upcoming events for this semester. Moreover, faculty members encouraged students to be part of ASCE and emphasized on the importance of this contribution to one’s personal and academic life. The students were able to discuss various concerns that they have with Prof. Adel Elkordi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Prof. Adnan Masri, Chairman of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department.
Both civil engineering students and faculty members got the chance to bond and enjoy some quality time over a delicious breakfast.
