Course Description

Laboratory investigations of rheumatologic diseases, Measurements of functional status and disease activity in rheumatologic diseases. Rheumatoid arthritis (pathophysiology, clinical picture). Management of rheumatoid arthritis. Systemic lupus erythematosus, pathophysiology and clinical picture. Management of SLE. Antiphospholipid syndrome. Seronegative spondyloarthropathies (Ankylosing Spondylitis) part 1, Seronegative spondyloarthropathies (part 2), Vasculitides, Becher’s disease and sarcoidosis, Crystal-induced arthritis. Systemic sclerosis and related disorders, Juvenile chronic arthritis, Inflammatory muscle diseases and polymyalgia rheumatica. Osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, Clinical Training: Normal articular examination, Clinical examination of a rheumatoid arthritis patient, Clinical examination of SLE patient, Clinical examination of an ankylosing spondylitis patient, Clinical examination of a systemic sclerosis patient, Dermatological manifestations of rheumatic diseases, Clinical examination of muscular diseases, Radiological training and evaluation of different rheumatologic diseases, Intra-articular injections and arthrocentesis.
