Health-Sciences - Course - CULTURE AND HEALTH

The course aims to provide university students with the basic knowledge to help understand one’s own culture. It will also enable the students to realize, understand and appreciate other culture’s norms and values as well as their effectiveness. This course tends to prepare students to be sensitive to sociocultural influences on health care and to improve their ability to evaluate health practices and beliefs.
