Rings, integral domains, fields, ideals, quotient rings, prime and maximal ideals. Divisibility theory, unique factorization domains, Euclidean domains. Polynomial rings, finite fields
    
2. Course Overview
 
The course aims to provide students with the specialist knowledge necessary for basic concepts in abstract algebra.

3. Course Objectives


By the end of the course, students will be able to

    - Learn basic concepts about  rings  and fields

    - Study Ideals and Integral domains

    - Study examples of finite fields

    - Study Isomorphism theorems for rings
