Dr. Soubra received her Pharm.D degree from the Saint Joseph University (Beirut/Lebanon) faculty of pharmacy and her PhD in toxicology and risk assessment from ABIES Doctoral School (Paris V/ France). She has also completed a Post-PhD fellowship in cardiology at the Rafic Hariri University Hospital in Beirut.
Dr. Soubra was appointed as an assistant professor at BAU since 2009. She is currently responsible to develop and teach courses related to pharmacy practice and toxicology. She continually struggles to implement new teaching and assessment methodologies in her courses.
Dr. Soubra has more than 10 years of teaching experience. She also previously worked as a clinical research associate, a community pharmacist and a clinical pharmacist.
Dr. Soubra is an active member of many national professional committees. She received recognitions from the ACCP (2012) and from The OPL (2014) for her significant contributions to the advancement of the profession.
Dr. Soubra's research interests focus on clinical pharmacy practice, the optimization of pharmacotherapy in the institutional and ambulatory settings, and cardiovascular diseases.


Teaching Experience

1.Spring 2009- till present: full time assistant professor teaching toxicology, therapeutics and clinical pharmacy courses.
2.Course coordinator for experiential clinical courses since 2010.
3.2006- fall 2009: Part time lecturer at the Lebanese International University teaching toxicology, therapeutics and clinical pharmacokinetics courses.

1.Pharmacotherapy of CNS disorders, cardiovascular disorders, and gastrointestinal disorders.
2.Toxicology and Clinical toxicology.
3. Pharmacokinetics.
