Biography

Prof. Dr. Maha Mohamed Deif currently works as a professor of clinical physiology dept.at Faculty of Medicine- Beirut Arab University. She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1986- Faculty of Medicine- Alexandria University and specialized in Physiology in 1986. She began her career as demonstrator at Faculty of medicine-Alexandria University. She received her MSc. degree in physiology in 1993. She worked as assistant lecturer of pharmacology until she received her doctoral degree in 2002. She was a lecturer of physiology from 2002-2008. From 2008-2013, she was an assistant professor of physiology. She works as a professor of clinical physiology at Alexandria Faculty of Medicine since December 2013. She also worked as a professor of physiology at faculty of Pharmacy-Pharos University (Egypt) from September 2011 to September 2012. She has many national and international publications. She supervised a number of Master and Doctorate theses .Her publication titled Effect of flaxseed supplementation and exercise training on lipid profile oxidative stress and inflammation in rats with myocardial ischemia was ranked first of top 20 articles by Biomed Lib in Who is publishing in my domain and was represented in Florence conference, Italy in 2013 by an oral presentation.
