Symmetric group, matrix representations, group algebra, reducibility, group characters, tensor products, representation of symmetric group, Young’s natural representation, Hook Formula, symmetric functions.

The course aims to provide students with the specialist knowledge necessary for basic concepts in module theory

By the end of the course, students will be able to

    - Learn basic concepts about  group representations

    - Study examples of representations
