Enrollment File
Each new student is issued with an individual enrolment file, as per the
relevant faculty, that contains the following documents:
1. Registration Form
2. Relevant Faculty Handbook
3. Booklet of the General Rules of the Credit Hour system
4. Student Contract Sheet relevant to the faculty
5. List of all Mandatory and Elective courses for the various academic
levels within the relevant faculty
6. Semester timetable
Enrollment Procedures
1. During orientation day, new students collect their enrollment files.
2. After selecting their courses, students should meet with their
academic advisors to receive guidance and fill out the registration
form. Students must maintain a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 18 credit
hours in Scientific faculties, and a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 18
credit hours in Humanities faculties.
3. Students must present all the required documents to the Registration
Office in order to obtain an invoice of the outstanding fees.
4. Students must then pay the outstanding fees as indicated on the
invoice at a bank (nominated by BAU) and obtain a valid receipt.
Subsequently this receipt must be presented to the Registration Office
for the issuing of ID cards.
Student Academic File
1. Each faculty sets up individual Student Academic files for all its
students. This file should contain documents such as the semester
enrollment forms, copy of the Student Contract Sheet (signed by the
student), semester academic transcripts, and all other documents
concerning the student such as medical certificates, academic warnings,
etc.
2. Students' academic files should be kept at the main registration
office. The academic coordinators must have copies of these files to
follow the students' cases with their academic advisors.
3. The student's academic file should be updated at the end of each
semester.
