The Master of Science in Food Analysis and Safety comprehensively covers the key concepts behind assuring safe food to consumers. This program is designated to consider the key microbiological and chemical hazards that can enter the food chain and to enrich graduates with the necessary skills to analyze and manage these hazards.

Admission Requirements

  • Applicants for the Master's Degree must hold a Bachelor Degree in Food science or other related discipline (such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, microbiology, nutrition, medical laboratory, Food engineering) obtained from Beirut Arab University or a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.33 for credit hour system students and ''Good'' for the academic year system students; or a Specialized Graduate Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.33 or its equivalent.
  • Evidence of English proficiency (BAU English Test: 60, TOEFL:520 OR ILETS:5.5).
  • Applicants for the Master's Degree holding Bachelor’s Degree with a major different from those listed above must finish no less than 15 credit hours and do not exceed 24 prerequisite courses before registering in the program.
