Biography

Professor Ramadan Mahmoud El Gharbawy, works at Beirut Arab University as a professor of anatomy and embryology since 2010. He has gotten the MD (Medical Doctorate) degree in Anatomy and Embryology in 1992 from Alexandria University. In 1997, he has gotten a master degree in general surgery from Alexandria University. He is practicing surgery in Egypt and has registered as consultant of General Surgery by the Medical Syndicate of Egypt in 2012. In 2008, the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education delegated him in a post-doctoral three-month scientific mission at the Department of Surgery, Emory School of Medicine. During his presence as a Scholar, he raised a fund ($18000) through the Centers for Surgical Anatomy and Technique and the Pediatric Liver Transplantation Program of the Children Healthcare at Emory as a support to a research project aimed at refining the techniques of pediatric liver transplantation. The research project has resulted in the publication of several publications in specialized prestigious journals.  (Prof Ramadan El Gharabawy CV)
