To improve health and well being of individuals and society by enhancing medication therapy outcomes through teaching, research and consultation.
To prepare graduates with a strong scientific foundation, sensitivity to cultural diversity, effective leadership skills, and the ability to assume key roles in the profession.

Goals:

The main goals of the Pharmacy Practice Department are:
Provide quality education to pharmacy students using best-practices and evidence-based educational approaches enabling graduates to provide pharmaceutical care in various settings.
  • Establish relationships with patient organisations, decision makers and practitioners to meet the needs of the Lebanese society and to model interprofessional patient-centered care.
  • Provide leadership to pharmacy practioners and the health care community regarding issues related to pharmaceutical health services.
  • Create new knowledge through rigorous research that translates to pharmacy practice and the wider health care community in Lebanon.
