BAU Tripoli Campus Hosts the “Lebanese Council for Women” at its Premises in a Discussion Panel with Students

Beirut Arab University - Tripoli Campus hosted the “Lebanese Council for Women” in a Discussion Panel with students at Campus. The aim of the event was to strengthen the bond between youth and the council through proposing collaborative activities that innervate the potential of youth and empower them for a better future and nation. The event was introduced by the Head of the Public Relations Unit in Tripoli Ms. Nala Makouk who welcomed the guests and briefed about the Lebanese Council for Women President Ms. Ikbal Doughan, “which has a remarkable experience in serving the society by supporting women and their rights through different projects and activities held throughout the years”. 

A welcoming speech from the Vice President for Tripoli Branch Affairs Prof. Khaled Baghdady was delivered emphasizing on encouraging youth to be part of the new Knowledge economy by being innovative, up-to-date with all technology means and to work hard to attain their dreams. 
President of the Lebanese Council for Women Mrs. Ikbal Doughan delivered a speech urging youth to make real changes, as youth are the new generation to come, to participate in the elections and to work devotedly for our beloved country – Lebanon
The Youth Director in the Council Ms. Fadia Senno, explained further the collaboration ways between the council and the youth. The lecture ended by Q& A Session.
